The Satsuma Complex

I’m not huge on hardback books, nor modern crime fiction - I didn’t get far in Richard Osman’s book - but I adored Bob Mortimer’s Autobiography and now his crime novel too.

Normal-if-dull Gary Thorn goes to meet a work acquaintance, and gets swept up in conversation with a woman at the bar. She disappears without a goodbye, and when his friend goes missing Gary gets immersed in a mission for love and answers.

Like all of Bob’s work, I find the turn of phrase of the book delightful and can’t wait for him to do more.
